Stratford Police are mourning the loss of a fallen Toronto Police officer.
SPS says on Twitter that they are extremely saddened to hear of the on-duty death of Constable Jeffrey Northrup.
Police say Northrup was struck and killed by a vehicle in an underground parking lot near Toronto City Hall overnight Thursday.
They say they believe the overnight incident was an “intentional, deliberate attack”.
Police in Stratford say they are extending their deepest condolences to Northrup’s family, friends and all members of the Toronto Police force.
They say together they mourn in this devastating and senseless loss.
