Shed entered, vehicles rummaged through near Stratford

Police are investigating a theft just south of Stratford.

OPP officers were called to a home along Highway 7 (Road 119) on Wednesday.

The homeowner reported thefts from his garage/shed outbuilding had happened sometime overnight Tuesday.

The suspect or suspects rummaged through the vehicles inside and removed some change from them.

They also took off with an 11hp Champion generator and a Stihl gas powered cut-off saw.

If you saw anything suspicious along Highway 7 just south of Line 29 Tuesday night you’re asked to call the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
