Huron Perth Public Health searching for dog involved in biting incident in Stratford

Huron Perth Public Health is looking to the public for help after a dog biting incident in Stratford.

They say it happened in the early evening on Thursday, July 8th along the Avon River and the victim was sitting on a bench near the Stratford Lions Pool when they were bitten.

The dog is described as golden retriever-like, medium sized with short hair and it was accompanied by one male.

If the dog isn’t found the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact HPPH.
