Fort Erie man killed in collision in Wilmot Township

A 64-year-old Fort Erie man has died after a collision involving a tractor in Wilmot Township.
Waterloo Regional Police say they were called out to Sandhills Road just before 5 o’clock Friday afternoon.
They say a farm tractor was travelling southbound when it hit the side of a bridge that goes across Highway 7/8.
The tractor then jumped a guardrail, according to police, and flipped over.
One man, a passenger in the tractor, was ejected and he  suffered severe injuries.
He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead while the driver of the tractor wasn’t hurt.
An investigation into the collision continues.
