Funding on the way for farmers and agri-food businesses in Perth-Wellington

Farmers and agri-food businesses in Perth-Wellington are getting a funding boost of over $580-thousand.

The money is coming from the federal and provincial governments through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.

Officials say the investment will fund projects that increase food safety, accelerate sector innovation, and help farmers bring new products to market to grow their businesses.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says funding will go to projects in every municipality in Perth-Wellington.
