St. Marys residents ask Green Arc Tire questions

Green Arc Tire is still working on getting its permit from the Ministry of the Environment.

The company took part in a public question and answer session last night in St. Marys.

A large crowd showed up to take part.

Danna O’Brien, Green Arc’s spokesperson, believes the meeting was successful.

Questions from last night’s crowd included things like the environmental effects the plant will have, the risk of a tire fire and how waste will be stored and disposed of.
