Environment Canada has ended the freezing rain warning for our region. However, thousands of people are still without power in Stratford and the surrounding areas today. Hydro One says crews are still out assessing the damage after the ice storm brought down trees and power lines. Most businesses are open, but you are advised to call ahead. There are no reports of any road closures but the roads are very slippery, as are most sidewalks and parking lots.
