The Chateau Laurier Hotel is in lockdown.  Media are not allowed to leave a secure area.  There are reports of a heavy police presence is now moving down Sparks Street south past the National War Memorial.  Police are expanding their lockdown area on Parliament.  A C-B-C reporter says the Chateau Laurier is a bit quieter now and police are considering it a safe location.  There are unconfirmed reports of police still searching for one or possibly two other gunmen.  One shooter is confirmed dead.
