Huron Perth reaches provincial mandate of fully vaccinated residents 12+

Huron Perth Public Health has reached a milestone in its effort to vaccinate residents.

The number of people 12+ in the area fully vaccinated has reached 70.7-percent.

That’s the magic number the province is looking for from each health unit before we exit the Roadmap to Reopen.

Even though we have reached the required number by the province, the health unit cautions that public health and workplace measures should still be followed.

These include wearing a mask in indoor public spaces, physical distancing, washing hands often, and staying home when sick.
