AMDSB looking for host families for international students

The Avon Maitland District School Board is looking for host families for international students.

Officials say homes for international secondary students are needed for the 2021-2022 school year, particularly in the Mitchell and St.Marys areas.

Currently, the program is welcoming international students from countries as permitted by Canada’s strict COVID-19 protocols.

The families are needed as of September and student enrollments can be short-term, 3-4 months or a semester, or a full year term.
