Chief John Bates says Stratford Police trained for situations like the one on Parliament Hill

Yesterday’s events in Ottawa can sometimes cause people to start asking questions about the safety of their own community.

Stratford Police Chief John Bates says officers in the city are fully trained to handle situations like that:
