Stratford Transit to offer condensed fixed-route service on Saturdays

There will soon be another option for getting around Stratford on Saturdays.

Stratford Transit says, as of this weekend, it’s adding a condensed fixed-route service on Saturdays to go along with their on-demand service.

The condensed #1 Huron and #2 East End fixed routes will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the bus traveling from the Downie Street terminal along the Huron route, back to the terminal.

It will then travel along the East End route and then back to the terminal.

Buses will display either #1 Huron or #2 East End for fixed routes, while the on-demand buses will display On Demand.

The transit operator says the change comes based on ridership information collected over the past few months, as well as feedback from customers.
