Gun hunting is now allowed on Sundays in Perth South.
At a meeting in July, Perth South Council gave the green light for the activity to take place during regulated hunting seasons effective September 1st.
Officials say the decision was made after extensive public consultation with over 200 people taking part in an online survey.
More people were in favor of the move than those who weren’t.
One concern raised was hunters trespassing on private property.
Stratford Police and the township are currently working on educating the public on the issue.
