It doesn’t appear there is a shortage of school bus drivers in our region.
Unlike most of the province, Huron Perth Student Transportation Services officials say they aren’t expecting a lack of drivers because of active recruitment.
However, they say conditions could change with short notice because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parents will be notified of any changes directly and since schools won’t be closed due to driver shortages, families are being asked to come up with a backup plan to get their students to school.
