You’ll soon have to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to go to several municipal recreation facilities in St.Marys.
The only exception will be for those who can’t get the vaccine because of medical reasons.
People 18 and older will have to show proof and photo ID when they go to the Pyramid Recreation Centre, the Aquatics Centre and the Friendship Centre starting on September 22nd.
Then on October 31st, youth 12 and older will need to show proof.
Officials say people who can’t get the vaccine because of medical exemptions will be able to use the facilities if they have a doctor’s note and a negative COVID-19 test from the past 48 hours.
