Third annual Perth County Cycling Tour this Sunday

Cyclists from across Ontario are descending on our area this weekend.

The third annual Perth County Cycling Tour is set for Sunday and will feature 100 cyclists taking part in three different routes in groups ranging from beginners to those more experienced.

The event was sold out five weeks ago and had to be capped for attendance because of COVID-19 restrictions.

President of Cycle Stratford Geoff Love says it’s great to see so many people taking part.

“More than fifty per cent of the riders this time are from more than 30 minutes away from Stratford and that’s not to say that we don’t want to have locals as well but part of our focus this year is to support the whole idea of cycling tourism.”

All of the cyclists will be leaving from Market Square throughout the morning.
