Some new recruits are set to become correctional officers at the Stratford Jail.
They are part of a group of 96 graduates who recently completed Ontario’s Corrections Foundational Training program.
The eight-week program was completed virtually and in-person with the recruits trained in several areas including communication skills, de-escalation skills and Indigenous cultural training.
