A 23-year-old Guelph woman has been charged after police say she stabbed a victim and assaulted a police officer.

First responders were called out to an address on Perth Road 164, just north of Listowel, shortly after 10:30 p.m. on September 6th.

One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

While the accused was being arrested police say she assaulted a police officer who wasn’t injured in the incident.

The woman from Guelph has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest.
