London Police investigating sexual assault allegations at Western University

London Police are now investigating sexual assault allegations at Western University.

LPS says in a media release that they are aware of reports circulating on social media about a number of incidents alleged to have happened at a residence on campus this past weekend.

Unconfirmed reports say as many as thirty female students were drugged and sexually assaulted.

Officials say they haven’t received any information involving incidents at the residence but they have now opened an investigation.

Police say they are investigating two reports of sexual assaults happening at other locations on campus over the past week including any possible links to the unreported incidents.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old London man has been charged with manslaughter after an 18-year-old student died following an assault near campus on the weekend.
