Canadian Forces Snowbirds coming to Stratford

A ballet in the sky is set to take place over Stratford.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are coming to the city to take part in a show Wednesday afternoon at the Stratford Airport.

It’s being put on by the Stratford Warriors Hockey Club and will be taking place rain or shine with other aircraft also showing off.

Captain Steve ‘Houdini’ MacDonald is with the snowbirds and he says the team loves performing across the country.

“I once was a young boy hanging out on a fence line hoping to get a glimpse of the pilots at the airshows and to be a part of the team now is surreal.”

The show starts at 4:30 and tickets for the drive-in style event are available with a suggested donation of $20 per vehicle.
