Breaking: Daily GO Transit service coming to Stratford and St.Marys

It’s soon going to be a lot easier to get back and forth to Toronto.

Starting October 18th, Mextrolinx will start running weekday GO Train trips between London and Toronto and it will include stops in Stratford and St.Marys.

It will leave London early in the morning and return in the evening.

Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson says the announcement signifies the confidence the province has in the region.

“It also recognizes the public transit deficit that we have and it provides viable options not only for people looking to get in and out of Toronto and other communities in our region for business but also social and personal engagements and also alternately tourism.”

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says the announcement is fantastic news for our area.

Just how much the service will cost has yet to be announced.
