Breaking: One new COVID-19 related death in Huron Perth

There’s been another COVID-19 related death in our region.

Huron Perth Public Health updated their data on Wednesday afternoon with the total death toll now at 65 since the pandemic began.

Officials say the death was that of a community member and it wasn’t connected to the outbreak at Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton.

It’s the eighth death connected to COVID-19 in Huron Perth since the Labour Day long weekend.

There are ten new cases being reported including three in Stratford, two in Perth East and one in North Perth.

The rest of the new cases are in Huron County.

The active case count now stands at 35.
