Police have charged a 31-year-old man with first-degree murder in the death of a child in Wellesley Township.
Waterloo Regional Police say they were called to a disturbance at a home on Powell Road around 9 o’clock Saturday morning.
Police say they found a one-year-old child dead at the scene and they have now charged the child’s father.
An investigation continues.
