Ontario providing over $3 million in funding for local hospitals

Over $3 million in funding is on the way from the Ontario government to local hospitals.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says the $3.9 million is part of the provinces Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund and it’s aimed at going towards helping out with upgrading, repairing, and maintaining hospital projects.

Among the recipients are the Stratford General Hospital that will get just over $2.1 million and the St.Marys Memorial Hospital that will receive approximately $436,000.

The funding is part of the province investing $182.6 million into 133 hospitals and 63 community health service providers.
