Residents in Perth East, North Perth, Huron East and Wellington County are still reading by candlelight.

Hydro One is working hard to restore their power as soon as possible.

Stratford was spared the worst of the hydro problems.

Mathieson also credits some forward-thinking by Festival Hydro a few years ago for Stratford faring well in recent ice storms.
