Bank willing to work with Stratford Country Club

The Stratford Country Club is having “severe financial difficulty.”

According to an email from club President Mark Straus the organization’s bank has demanded full repayment of its mortgage and operating line of credit.

Members of the board met with the bank yesterday.

They said the meeting was positive and the bank indicated they are willing to work with the club.

A meeting for full members is happening at the Stratford Country Club Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.

The club’s financial health will be discussed at that meeting.
