You’re being reminded to always be aware of your safety after a violent robbery in Listowel.
The warning comes after police say a 28-year-old Listowel resident has been charged with Robbery with Violence.
Perth County OPP says they responded to a report of an assault on Maitland Avenue South just before midnight on October 15th.
The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Investigators don’t believe there’s any threat to public safety in connection to the case.
