John Nater officially sworn in as MP for Perth-Wellington

Perth-Wellington MP John Nater says his top priorities in the new parliament include the environment, healthcare, and the future of local businesses.

Nater was officially sworn in as the MP for the riding during a ceremony in Ottawa on Tuesday.

This is Nater’s third term in office after he was reelected in the federal election in September.

He says he heard from constituents in every corner of Perth-Wellington during the election campaign with other issues raised including rural internet access and the rising cost of housing.

The House of Commons is scheduled to resume on November 22nd.
