St.Marys woman charged with first-degree murder released on bail

A 62-year-old St.Marys woman charged with first-degree murder has been released on bail.

Katherine Thompson is charged in the 1985 death of Meghan Thompson who was 25 days old when she died.

She appeared in court virtually from jail for her bail hearing on Thursday morning.

Thompson must stay at her home at all times unless she’s with her sureties as well as follow other conditions.

She’s due back in court in Stratford on November 8th at 9 a.m.
