Thirty-six banners are honouring the wartime contributions of Stratford and area veterans.
The banners are now on lamp posts around the downtown core and they’ll stay there for the next month with Remembrance Day coming up on November 11th.
Twelve new banners were added to the collection this year.
For the first time a woman, Leading Airwoman Edythe Patricia Fowler who was an aerial photographer with the RCAF, is featured on one of the banners.
