Pettapiece reacts to GTA transit funding promise

The issue of funding public transit upgrades in the Toronto and Hamilton area has caused quite a stir.

The government recently announced that an HST increase and a gasoline tax increase are among the ideas being considered to pay for the project.

Jeff Leal is the Minister of Rural Affairs.

He wants to assure rural residents that they won’t be footing the bill:
