It’s time to get your winter tires on.
That’s according to Environment Canada Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Peter Kimbell who says we are in a cold snap right now that’s expected to last the next couple of days and even brings a chance of seeing some flurries Tuesday night.
Kimbell says it’s not all bad news though with warmer than average temperatures returning next week and sticking around for the foreseeable future.
As for what we’ll see long-term, Kimbell says it’s too hard to say.
“The reality is that there are limits to the predictability, to our confidence, that limit is probably between about one to two weeks.”
Kimbell adds winter is coming so it’s a good idea to be ready for whatever the season will bring.
