There’s a new way to pay for parking in Stratford.
Based on the success of its partnership with HotSpot, city officials say they are expanding the deal to now offer Fast Tap signs where users can pay for parking by tapping the NFC code on the sign with their phone.
Users can also pay by scanning the QR Code on the side with the camera on their phone.
You can tap or scan the sign, enter your license plate number, how long you want to park for, and then pay with one of the available payment options.
Since HotSpot launched in Stratford in late June, more than 7,500 users have signed up for the mobile parking payment system, and nearly 25,000 parking sessions have taken place with it.
