The allegations continue to mount against former CBC radio host Jian Ghomeshi.
Reports say at least nine women and one man have accused him of assault and/or sexual abuse.
Lisa Wilde, the executive director of the Emily Murphy Centre here in Stratford, says high profile cases like this can encourage other victims to come forward:
