Our region saw its lowest unemployment rate of the year last month.
The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says the rate in the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region decreased by 0.6 percentage points from 3.6 per cent to 3 per cent in October.
It’s also the lowest rate among economic regions in Ontario.
There were gains in areas including construction while industries including accommodation and food services saw losses.
