The Downie Optimist Community Hall in St.Pauls is getting a facelift.
Approximately $275,000 is coming for the project through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
Under the agreement, Ottawa funds 40 per cent of the costs while Ontario picks up 33.3 per cent and Perth South will pay the remaining amount.
The work will include a complete renovation of the hall, kitchen, bar and washrooms while the parking lot will also be expanded.
The renovations are expected to be completed by early spring 2022.
