More details are expected to be released soon on the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine for kids in our region.
On Friday, Health Canada announced they have approved the Pfizer vaccine for children aged five to 11 years old.
Huron Perth Public Health officials say appointments for the age group aren’t being booked in our area yet and they will be providing further updates in the days ahead as provincial direction and vaccine supply details are confirmed.
Parents are being asked not to try and book shots for their children until HPPH announces that appointments are open.
