COVID-19 outbreak declared at Atwood school

There’s a new COVID-19 outbreak at a school in our region.

Updated data from Huron Perth Public Health shows an outbreak has been declared at Elma Township Public School.

Cases have been identified in three students at the school which currently remains open.

HPPH officials tell MyStratfordNow.com  they are working with the school to manage cases and high-risk contacts.

An outbreak at the North Perth Spinrite Child and Family Centre in Listowel remains active as do outbreaks at three unidentified businesses.

There are sixteen new cases around the area with 12 in North Perth, one in Perth East, and the rest in Huron County.

There are 43 active cases in Huron Perth.
