Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath is paying a visit to Stratford.
Horwath will be in the city Friday morning to introduce city councilor Jo-Dee Burbach as the Ontario NDP’s Perth-Wellington candidate for 2022.
She will be speaking at The Local Community Food Centre on Erie Street at 11:30 a.m.
Burbach’s virtual nomination meeting is scheduled for Sunday morning where she will become the official candidate for the party.
The Ontario election is scheduled for June 2nd, 2022.
