Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath says the times are changing.

Horwath was in Stratford on Friday to introduce city councilor Jo-Dee Burbach who is the provincial NDP’s Perth-Wellington candidate for 2022.

Horwath says Burbach knows the communities in this region well because of her experience as a business person and in municipal politics and she says she would make a fantastic MPP for this area.

She says people across Ontario, including locally, are unhappy with Premier Doug Ford and his decisions and they are looking for an alternative.

“I think that the people of Perth-Wellington have an important decision to make but I have a great deal of confidence that Jo-Dee is exactly the person that will bring the voice of these communities to Queen’s Park and really fight for the people here.”

The Ontario election is scheduled for June 2nd, 2022.
