A pedestrian killed in a collision involving a pickup truck near Milverton has been identified.
Just before 7 o’clock, Tuesday night first responders were called out to Perth Road 121 in Poole after the collision involving a person walking in the area and a southbound pickup truck.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
She has now been identified as 67-year-old Mary Jantzi from Perth East.
Police say the driver remained at the scene after the collision.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for Wednesday and police are asking anyone who saw what happened to call them or Crime Stoppers.
