COVID-19 outbreak declared at Milverton daycare

A new COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at a daycare in Milverton.

Updated data from Huron Perth Public Health shows the outbreak is at the Perth Care for Kids where cases have been identified in two students.

Meanwhile, outbreaks also continue at the North Perth Spinrite Child and Family Centre in Listowel, the North Perth Westfield Before and after Program, North Perth Westfield Elementary School, and at Elma Township Public School in Atwood which reopened for in-person learning today (Tuesday).

An outbreak also continues at an unnamed business in the area.

There are five new COVID-19 cases in Perth County with three of the cases in Perth East and the other two in North Perth.

There’s also one new case in Huron County.

Around the region, there are 68 active cases.
