New COVID-19 case number highest in seven months

Ontario is reporting its highest daily total of new COVID-19 cases since the end of May.

The province added 1,808 cases on Wednesday with the seven-day rolling average now at 1,514.

Nine more deaths were recorded over the past day.

Test positivity is at six-percent.

154 people are in intensive care across the province
