A 24-year-old man has been charged with assault following an incident in Mitchell.
Perth County OPP says they were called out to an assault at home on James Street just after 3 o’clock Tuesday morning.
Police say the suspect had assaulted another person with a weapon and then damaged two vehicles that were at the residence.
Charges including Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose have been laid.
