More people are calling our city home now compared to five years ago.
Statistics Canada has released Census information and it reveals 33,232 people were living in Stratford last year.
That’s compared to 31,470 in 2016.
Mayor Dan Mathieson calls it a “stable growth rate” and adds it represents the desirability of Stratford as a place to live and work.
Perth County saw its population grow from 76,812 in 2016 to 81,565 last year.
