Busy weekend for OPP with crashes and R.I.D.E. checks

It seems like some people just never learn.

The Perth County OPP had a busy Friday, responding to 32 crashes.

Police say most of these were due to drivers refusing to adjust their driving habits for winter conditions.

On top those crashes the OPP also set up seven R.I.D.E. checkpoints throughout the county.

One driver, a 61-year-old North Perth man, was arrested at the checkpoint in Listowel.

He’s been charged with “Over 80 Mgs”.
