Margaret Elsie (Commerford) Mark of Stratford passed away at home on Monday, December 23, 2013, in her 92nd year. Born in Stratford, she was the daughter of the late James Commerford and the former Caroline Harnack. She was predeceased by her loving husband Frank Mark in 1986. Margaret was a devoted volunteer with the Girl Guides of Canada and a member of the Stratford Golf and Country Club. Wonderful mother of Frank Mark and wife Gwen, Elizabeth Jones, Susan Morse and husband Reg, Linda Paul and husband Sandy, and Janette Mark and husband Gary MacDonald. Margaret was the cherished grandmother of Lee Ann (Jeff), Andy (Rachel), Natalie, Scott (Danja), Jeff, Mike, Alex, and Mark. She was blessed with nine great-grandchildren, Gretta, Zach, Max, Lily, Emelia, Olivia, Tyson, Landon and Sadie, and was a favourite aunt to many nieces and nephews. The beloved sister of Joyce Kilborn and sister-in-law Ruth Commerford, Margaret is predeceased by her brothers Murray, Joseph and James Commerford and sister Marion Lucy. As per her wishes, her ashes will be interred during a private family service in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
