Police: Two people charged after obstructing officers in Perth East

Two people face charges after police say they obstructed officers investigating a minor collision.

Perth County OPP says they were called out to the collision involving a tractor in the ditch on Line 57 in North Perth just before 5 p.m. on February 15th.

The tractor was pulled from the ditch but officers say the driver gave them a false name before fleeing the scene.

A second person tried to block the officer by using another piece of heavy equipment and both were arrested.

A 21-year-old from Huron East and an 18-year-old from North Perth have been charged.
