OPP says “Stop and Look”, especially in bad weather

The Perth County OPP is in the midst of their “Stop and Look” campaign.

They’re reminding drivers that coming to a proper stop at an intersection is especially important in weather like we’ve had.

One driver learned that the hard way Monday night.

A 26-year-old Bayfield resident was charged with careless driving after nearly hitting an OPP cruiser near Wartburg.

The “Stop and Look” campaign runs until Friday.
