A firefighter is recovering from non-serious injuries after a vehicle drove over a fire hose at a blaze in Listowel.
First responders were called out to the fire on Havelock Avenue South Thursday morning.
The road was closed between Main Street and Elma Street.
North Perth firefighters say their member was injured when the vehicle rolled over the hose.
Officials say when they ask people to avoid an area it’s for the safety of their personnel and the public.
They add Thursday morning’s injuries were entirely preventable.
